On behalf of a partner, we delivered a full-scale migrationfrom a locally hosted Windows Server NAS file share to MicrosoftSharePoint Online, transforming the way files were accessed and managedacross the business.

Key components of the project included:

• Full     replication of the existing file structure within SharePoint
• Granular     permissions setup, reflecting existing access controls
• Use     of incremental migration tools to avoid downtime or data loss
• Seamless     integration with Microsoft 365 user environment
• Post-migration     support, troubleshooting, and optimisation

This migration improved security, enabled remote access, andaligned the business with modern cloud-first infrastructure, all whilemaintaining a familiar user experience for staff. The end result was a smoothtransition that allowed for long-term scalability and easier management ofshared resources.
