On behalf of a partner, we were tasked with transitioning the organisation from Bitdefender to Microsoft Defender, leveraging existing Intune MDM policies to manage deployment and system compliance.

Project scope included:

• Creation of Defender configuration profiles and deployment rings

• Scripted removal of Bitdefender across all endpoints

• Controlled rollout to test devices before full deployment

• Policy tuning for real-time protection, exclusions, and alerts

• Post-deployment validation and performance monitoring

This migration simplified the endpoint protection stack, enhanced native integration with Microsoft 365, and reduced licensing complexity — all while maintaining strong security across the fleet.
