On behalf of a partner, we delivered a lightweight and scalable solution for pushing a company-branded wallpaper to all corporate Windows machines joined to Azure AD and managed via Microsoft Intune.
The solution involved:
• Hosting of the wallpaper image via secure cloud storage
• A PowerShell script to download and apply the wallpaper
• Deployment of the script using Intune device configuration policies
• Validation across multi-user and single-user setups
• Testing and fallback logic for machines with limited access
This allowed for consistent desktop branding with no need for manual installs or Group Policy Objects, perfectly suited for cloud-first environments.
